My name is Amanda Horvath and this is my second semester at Tidewater Community College. I spend most of my time focusing
on school, working and most importantly taking care of my daugther. My daughter's name is Avriana, she is nineteen months
old and the most amazing little girl I have ever known! I am originally from the midwest and because of my stepfather being
in the military, I have lived all over the United States. I enjoy doing practically everything as long as it involves being
outdoors and staying active! I definitely enjoy my down time, as im sure all mothers out there know it doesnt happen to often...Welcome

I am currently a Paralegal Studies major in my second semester although I am not
sure that is exactly what I will be doing in the near future. When I finish my Associates in Paralegal Studies I plan to of
course find a job in a smaller law firm. While working there I also plan to attend Tidewater for my second Associates degree
in Nursing. Nursing has been a career I have always wanted but due to my daugther being born, I had a sudden change of heart.
I figured that with her I should find something else because I did not want to work the long hours and be away for so long.
So much for that, my mind is quickly changing! It has been my passion as well as alot of other people to help others and make
a difference in someones life. I would like to go into Pediatrics when I finish that and work with children, I absolutely
love being around little kids, no matter what kind of mood you may be in, they always love you no matter what!
